DJ Wild Bill Stanley

Wild Bill Stanley is a seasoned DJ from Dallas, Texas, who has been entertaining audiences for over four decades. He began his career in 1975 as the DJ at Big Wheel Skateland, a Roller Rink in Arlington, Texas, before moving on in 1982, to spin at iconic clubs in Dallas such as Acapulco Bar, Confetti, and the Boiler Room/Paragon inside the Dallas Alley complex. From 1989, he was the DJ at Club "A" when Dallas' first live club mix was broadcast on KEGL, The Eagle. He was also responsible for creating Studio "A" Trash Disco, Dallas' biggest Sunday night party for 10 years, which debuted in 1989. Working with the same management group from Club "A", Wild Bill went on to DJ at prominent Dallas clubs such as Detour, Eden 2000, and Blue Planet. Later, he took over the Sunday night "Red Square Retro" night at Dallas' Red Jacket, featuring '80s New Wave, which was broadcast live on KDGE, The EDGE radio station. He had a 15-year residency Sunday nights at The ChURcH, a long-running club night in The World Famous Lizard Lounge, playing Retro '80s in the club's Video Bar. Now semi-retired and living in Olón, Ecuador, with his wife Caroline, Wild Bill continues to spin at club nights and events including fundraisers for local charities, using his vast musical knowledge. He has recently spun using an alternative DJ name when playing electronic music as "DJ Silver Alert" to differentiate the type of set his fans can expect. He is known for his ability to entertain and engage crowds with his impeccable taste in music and his ability to read the crowd.
